@ThePirateTester Learning the basics of coding may help a tester understand how to perform manual API testing via REST more easily or provide more insight to web accessibility test reports from tools such as WAVE or AXE. Doesn’t mean they have to become automated testers.
@ThePirateTester Automation is not a silver bullet and skilled manual testers always add a lot of value to a team. Coding is just another skill that can be added to your tool belt if you choose. As professionals we should always be trying to expand our knowledge in multiple skills
