'One year after IDT boss ‘bribe’ sting, no arrests or prosecutions
It has been more than a year since Daily Maverick’s explosive video ‘sting’ captured former Independent Development Trust CEO Tebogo Malaka and the organisation’s spokesperson offering this journalist a cash ‘bribe’ in exchange for dropping an investigation into Malaka’s financial dealings with an IDT contractor. Despite the clear video evidence, the Hawks and the National Prosecuting Authority are yet to act.'

Depression lies to you. It distorts the truth of who you are, puts clouds over any good moments in your past, and presents nightmares as your future.
Breathe and try to believe there is more in you and for you than you may be able to see in this season.
The sooner we cut out all this “sophisticated” political analysis about these shenanigans the better.
The people are no fools. They see who is raiding the state coffers.
Ke nako!
The Process:
1) Decide what you want to achieve.
2) Try different ways of achieving it until you find one that works for you.
3) Do more of what works. Do less of what doesn’t.
4) Don’t stop doing it until it stops working.
5) Repeat.
It is both this simple and this hard.
Basic ways to avoid hypocrisy:
1. Hold yourself to higher standards than you hold others
2. Don’t take credit if you aren’t willing to accept blame
3. Only preach what you already practice
4. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen
5. Under-promise and over-deliver
The name of Thuli Madonsela will go down in the annals of South Africa as the one public servant who uncovered the web of ANC state capture and recommended the state capture enquiry. If not for her, the extend of the corruption would not have been uncovered.
It's nice to be needed, but it's healthier to be valued.
Being needed creates dependence: people are helpless without us, so it becomes difficult to say no.
Being valued maintains independence: there's no pressure to say yes. Helping becomes a choice, not a chore.
This is a doctored & deliberately falsified image that seeks to use my public profile to garner support for a specific agenda. This is a blatant lie & was NOT drafted or posted by me. I reject this in the strongest terms &have lodged the complaints with Twitter.
