@SlappinGlass This is so good an hour felt like 20mins. I wish there was a part 2... I hope you have this coach back on again soon.

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@Ali_LookListen I definitely cheated. Although I couldn't remember if you were an Orc in LOTR. Still thought it far more likely than forklift driver 🤭

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@Ali_LookListen Wait a minute, you shoot lefty now?

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@LachieEverett The double is coming on the catch. He's already collapsed the D by catching the ball in the LP vs smaller defender.

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@coachliamflynn @ACBCOM @BasketballCL @CB1939Canarias That's a lot of pre-motion just to generate a post-up. Big gets the catch with 5 on the clock.

@DylanTMurphy Since writing this article has your opinion changed with regards to doing drops coverage vs pick and pop threats?

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@DylanTMurphy Smarts has always been the biggest separator.

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@DylanTMurphy @dictionarybball That's valid, definitely works well if teams don't know to make it a single bump.

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@DylanTMurphy @dictionarybball Maybe, gets pretty hairy if they're both shooters though... I just think your better off doing something else vs pick and pops, could switch / triple switch if they dive.

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@DylanTMurphy @dictionarybball Yeah you definitely have to go with the cutter, I just don't think you can then stunt from that far away.

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@DylanTMurphy @dictionarybball Hey nice i just saw this... this is exactly what i'm asking about.
Thanks.

[Nate Duncan @NateDuncanNBA]

There's @DylanTMurphy "icebreaker" off the pick and pop. Burks gets a dunk.

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@DylanTMurphy @dictionarybball The 45 is the wing. So imagine you run a middle on-ball screen, with both corners filled and the right hand wing in... opponent "weak"s, screener pops, the next defender in the chain stunts (from the wing Or 45) and his man then cuts to the rim.

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@DylanTMurphy @dictionarybball Specific to drops vs pick and pops... what do you do if the weakside 45 cuts?
Thanks

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@NateDuncanNBA Pretty hard to overcome not sprinting back in dtrans.ĺ

[Robert Hartley @robertdhartley1]

@gail_mayes There are some transferable skills but basketball is far too nuanced. Playing another sport will not make you good at bball.
