This Thanksgiving feels a bit different. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It has put a lot into perspective, most of all how lucky I am to be surrounded by so many supportive family and friends.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Gavin Jerzak, who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Over the past 4 years, Gavin’s strength, warmth, and smile inspired all of us with the Comets, from players, coaches, fans and staff.
We are grateful for the time we had with Gavin and for the joy he brought into our lives. Our hearts go out to his family during this incredibly difficult time. Gavin will forever be remembered for his brave spirit and the light he brought to us all. You will always be in our hearts and will forever be a Comet. It truly is “your team”!!!
Congrats to Four year standout Niko Benjamin on a huge night!
