Can wild radish adapt to avoid HWSC?
Two papers led by @Mike_AHRI found that while wild radish can adapt to flower earlier, in-field tests show that this shift is far less than expected at only 12 days 🌾

Highlights of the tour included cropping without glyphosate, germ plasm trials, a demonstration of the Predicta B, herbicide resistance, a visit to Thornby's sheep feedlot, and grower dinners with topical speakers...
Last night, John Gladigau spoke to us about his new venture that he's involved with - iFarmWell - https://t.co/p4DRHMz9VH. There are many resources these days to help people when they are down (@burgess_ag@BradMillsteed are two fab examples of these resources) - here's another
The AHRI Agronomy team has done extensive work looking at crop competition in hybrid and open-pollinated canola.
Project Lead, Dr Mike Ashworth, discusses the findings on ideal canola seeding rate, variety, row spacing and seed size on the @WeedSmartAU podcast 🎙️⤵️
Our Agronomy team investigated the effect of 7 cropping rotations in high-weed-pressure fields over 3 years 🌱
Results show that a single species pasture legume, e.g. serradella, can make a large dent in the annual ryegrass seed bank.

Thank you to @IOA_UWA and @AHRI_Team for letting me be part of this amazing learning experience. Just as importantly, @GGA_WA and @GRDCWest for organizing and sponsoring the trip 😃
