@TheMilkBarTV Because she is a sell out and a conspiracy theorist of the worst kind.
It's ok to believe in conspiracies. It's not ok to take everything and make it a conspiracy. It literally will destroy your brain's ability to process new information correctly.
@Sacramentshow Because the word "Mother" implies existed before. So she isn't the mother of God. She is the mother of Christ (who is in nature God and man). There is a difference. She gave birth to the man's nature, not the godly nature.
@smithwriting@Xtopher_Uzo I'd spend a little more time in the scriptures:
"not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ" - 1 Peter 3:21
@Xtopher_Uzo The circumcision practice was to continue the line of Abraham and Isaac. It was specific to the tribes of Israel as later used to remember God sparing the firstborn sons in Egypt. That's where I think you are misunderstanding the difference between the two concepts.
@ksorbs It's the way she is saying it. Was it influenced by African cultures...yes. Was it a result of African cultures...no.
She isn't teaching accurate history.
@LexiLex__28@Xtopher_Uzo The children can come. They can even be baptized long before they ever know right from wrong. It's just powerless. It doesn't accomplish anything for a baby or toddler. How can they make a confession of faith when they yet understand what that even means?
@LexiLex__28@Xtopher_Uzo The children are to come. Nobody said not to bring the children to Jesus. It was shepherd speak. He was saying, "Don't put obstacles to keep the sheep from me." However, baptism isn't teaching knowledge of God. It is clearly stated in scripture that baptism is a clean conscience.
@Xtopher_Uzo There is no direct scripture on that. However, there is Deuteronomy 1:39 which says that children do not have knowledge over good/evil and Isaiah 7:15-16 which says the exact same thing about the future John the Baptist. It would be inconsistent if they then had to repent.
This is complete and utter insanity. They pay taxes for those roads. If they chose to drive in circles, whose business is that? Definitely not the governments. Washington, California, and Oregon are screwed!
Just found this official decree from the Washington Governor’s Office…
They’ve officially banned aimless driving.
No more cruising. No more joyrides. No more “I’m just clearing my head, officer.”
You must have a lawful destination at all times or face a $1,000 fine.
Welcome to the People’s Republic of Washington, where even your Sunday drive needs prior approval.
Governor Ferguson has solved traffic congestion by making driving illegal unless you’re going somewhere productive.
Next up: banning “aimless walking,” “purposeless staring out the window,” and breathing without a five-year plan.
Washingtonians, start practicing your excuse scripts now:
“Yes officer, I am driving to acquire oat milk for my emotional support latte.”
This is peak 2026 energy.
Government: “We care about your safety!”
Also government: “But first, show me your destination on this here form, citizen.”
The only thing aimless now is common sense. Hopefully you got a chuckle. Now days I wouldn’t put anything past them.
