@tonydowney67@PostOffice@kevinhollinrake I’d say fair compensation would be 1 million for all victims of the shakedown who were not prosecuted and 2 million for all who were prosecuted.
Israeli journalist Gideon Levy (Haaretz) talks about the dehumanization of Palestinians by Israeli society:
A) All of them deeply believe we are the choose people ...
B) There were more brutal occupation in history... ... in which the occupier presented himself as the victim...
The third set of values is the most dangerous one and this is the systematic dehumanisation of the Palestinians which enable us Israelis to live in peace with everything because if they are not human being like us then there is not really a question of human rights and if you scratch under the skin of almost every Israeli you will find there almost no one will treat the Palestinians as equal human beings like us. I once wrote that we treat Palestinians like animals I got so many protest letters from animal rights organisations rightly so but by end of the day how many Israelis did ever try for a moment to put themselves in the place of the Palestinians for a moment for one day... ...
A quick heads up. I’m hosting a fundraiser for the bell ringers of Hinton St George. All welcome. Studio visits possible at other times by appointment. Paintings also online for purchase with express delivery, https://t.co/S7W5Ce1xrW
I used paint and swim here when Louise was singing at Aix. Ate for 49f, 3 courses, incl 25cl wine The head always gave me 50cl. The vibe here is similar to that found by the Colourists 100 years ago.
This was painted after a storm with the roar of waves crashing all around.
This is my first painting in France for a long time. It’s a wonderful spot. Look North to la Montagne Ste Victoire and South across the hills towards Aubagne. Hanging between Cezanne and Pagnol. One a master of translating landscape with paint the other with words.
@MerrynSW The U.K. needs cheaper electricity and housing so onshore wind does both 🤣 (I’d be very happy buying a house with a 50% discount and a lovely view of a wind farm )
