Good morning!
Today in 1973, Secretariat secured the Triple Crown by winning the Belmont Stakes by 31 lengths, perhaps the most dominant racing performance ever.
Cherie DeVaux just delivered an absolute master class with Golden Tempo in the Belmont. She unapologetically put her developing big horse first, trained him each day to what she felt he needed to perform in two very different races, and boy did he deliver. Kudos and congrats!
People who NOW say Golden Tempo should have run in the Preakness miss the concept of maybe he won today because he didn’t race in the Preakness. The owner and Trainer made a decision for the horse and it led to a win today. Just appreciate a great horse and Trainer!
How about this: Golden Tempo wins the Belmont Stakes!
The two legs of the triple crown that Cherie DeVaux’s horse ran, he won. Jose Ortiz with another mammoth victory. DeVaux said Golden Tempo could be vulnerable in this length of a race. Instead, 1st!
The architect of Razorback softball is still there, and if you think it's someone other than Coach Deifel, you just joined the regular scheduled program already in progress.Say our thanks, goodbyes, and do our little hand-wringing,then we get back to the Big Pig invasion.
