According to our hosting provider, @ResellerClub is planning to restrict our site/database following this complaint from a "cybersecurity advocate".
All assistance appreciated, since they said they'd "probably restrict".
I'm very happy to have an article in this issue of MultiLingual magazine - an interview with language rights defender @AbduwelA. I hope many people will be inspired by his courageous work.
#China Studies remains open to charges of racism and intellectual dishonesty if it refuses to grapple with reality that the "lived experience" of non-Han PRC-born scholars, such as Rahile Dawut, is imprisonment for their research. #Uyghurs

In recent years, the Uyghur rights organization Uyghur Hjelp has documented more than 200 cases of Uyghur scientists and other science professionals being imprisoned in #China, according to @AbduwelA.

June 15 marks Uyghur Language Day. It serves as a poignant reminder of the urgency to preserve this endangered language and its rich cultural legacy, and to stand in solidarity with Uyghurs in their struggle for cultural survival. #UyghurLanguageDay
I just learned that my cousin, Erkin Tewekkul, a respected school principal, has been handed a 12-year prison sentence by the #CCP. https://t.co/c744vHezTL
He was accused of 'supporting nationalist separatists' simply for telling students that their detained parents would eventually be freed from the camps. The heart-wrenching reality is that it has been seven years since his unjust arrest, and I would not have known if not for this @RadioFreeAsia article.
The overseas #Uyghur community, myself included, has been forced to sever communication with loved ones in #EastTurkistan to protect them. The nightmare doesn't end there—we're left to find out such devastating news like this, often months or even years later. Erkin is now on my ever-growing list of people to advocate for.
Thank you @shohret_hoshur for reporting it.
