Two new Mallary burn-redeems are live now!

Burn one copy of Who Is Robert Mallary to receive one copy of The Gentleman, an ink depiction of a Chaplinesque figure from Bob's time in Mexico.

Burn one copy of Computing Art to receive one copy of The Lady, a charcoal portrait of a woman's face, created in 1947, during Bob's brief adult years in California.

Both burns will remain open for 48 hours, until 2:20AM EST on July 26th.

Today's Mallary Vintage 1/1 NFT is a special one!

This piece represents one of Bob's very first forays into purely two-dimensional digital art, following closely on the heels of several years of research and development of the TRAN/Quad protocol.

We're calling this series Corridor, in honor of Nees' groundbreaking work by the same name.

By simply distorting a spiral defined by two disparate and displaced polygons he was able to evoke a sense of real depth from these simple figures.

Their bright colors were a departure from most of his earlier work, which tended towards the monochromatic with a few notable exceptions.

As always this will be an $8 no-reserve auction for a 1/1 Mallary Vintage NFT.

Today's Mallary Vintage 1/1 NFT is our largest yet, literally!

This series, which we're referring to as Lattice and in which Bob celebrates the inhuman precision of the IBM plotters he was working with, often takes up nearly the entire sheet, resulting in large images and small image margins.

This example, an Artist's Proof from 1972, is a beautiful example, its thousands of intersections rendered with micrometer precision. It clocks in at 8,000x6,500 pixels.

As always this will be an $8 no-reserve auction!

Presenting our second Mallary Vintage 1/1 NFT mint from the program we're referring to as Tux!

These pieces, made using a modified drunk's walk algo, are highly reminiscent of Bob's physical work in resin, without the risks inherent with working with industrial chemicals!

These multiple figure examples are characterized by a consistent left figure that randomly mutates as it moves to the right.

Now that the Pioneer Works premiere is behind us (The pieces will be on display until August 6th in case you missed the show but would like to see them) I'm happy to present the second Mallary Vintage 1/1 NFT from the Solar series!

These pieces were created in 1970 as part of a benefit for solar power research, and the pieces in the Connecticut hoard seem to be some of the only that escaped the bleaching typical of early plotters that were displayed in the light.
