@JaneAddams247 I agree that poverty can be reduced if everyone puts in some effort. However, many in congress would rather keep and maintain the status quo instead of better out nation and paving the way to a better future for all. I will continue to try my best!

@Upt0nSinclair69 I agree that there are many in our country that are corrupt and greedy. I don’t uphold all socialist values, but I think we can both agree that taxes and working conditions reformations must be made in order to better our country for the next generation!

@Robert_Owen177 Regarding the working conditions in factories, you can make more safety policies and protocols and can also raise the wages of the workers to match the numerous possible dangers. Additionally, you can also give new workers some training for a week before paying them full wages.

It’s ridiculous to accuse me of treason just because I think the Rich should pay for the wars. While yes, our economy will take a blow for a moment, many deaths can be prevented and military costs will be avoided.

I do however applaud the social justice laws, but I believe that most of Wilson’s regulatory acts—specifically the Federal Reserve Board—constitutes the government’s sponsorship of big businesses. I do somewhat regret backing him now.

I am disgusted by Woodrow Wilson because he ignores the ideas of progressive Republicans and shapes most legislation in the Democratic caucus.

I am proud to have been able to pass this act, but there is still much more to work on! Other industries also need better working conditions and policies. So let’s get to it!

I have passed the La Follette Seaman’s Act of 1915, which increases the safety of passengers and improves the working conditions for sailors. This may be seen as a small step towards something much greater, and it is.

I achieved the passage of laws aimed against the freight rates, labour policies, and financing practices of the railroads. I helped reform our economy to an extent. However, I believe there is still more to improve!

I grew up in moderately prosperous areas. I was a student at the University if Wisconsin, a county district attorney, and a congressman from southwestern Wisconsin. I worked to carry out the wishes of the people, even if they clashed against those of other party leaders.
