So Barca have €80 million for Anthony Gordon yet they won't cough up £26 million for the guy who will be starting ahead of him for England at the World Cup this summer?
Rashy sounds like when you're tryna drop game on some bird with English as a second language but u can't commit to the broken accent cos u feel self conscious ab sounding too racist
Kobbie Mainoo is a free kid from the academy, Yoro and Sesko almost same age already cost the club £80m and £55m already, Sesko is on £150k/w while Yoro is on £125k/w.
My question is, why are you angry about Mainoo’s contract? They are all important part of the team, why must Mainoo be the one on £75k/w despite already costing lesser?
What do you have against the academy graduates of Man United?
Should we just scrap them altogether??
🚨🚨🗣️ Michael Carrick asked whether he would be open to bringing Marcus Rashford back to Manchester United and if the door should be left open for him to play for the club again:
“I just think there’s decisions to be made in time really on certain things and obviously, Marcus is in that situation, but at this point in time, nothing’s been decided. It will be, because it has to be at a certain point, but at this stage there’s nothing to say.” #MUFC [MU]
Italy failing to qualify for a 48-team World Cup (and missing out for the third tournament running) says everthing about the sorry state of Italian football.
The weirdest argument I see against Carrick is that Ole “failed”. What do you mean by failed? Because except Pep and a handful of managers, everyone eventually gets sacked. Is that what failure is?
Ole got to 3rd and 2nd in the PL, reached multiple cup semi finals, and was one penalty away from winning the Europa league with a squad that wasn’t balanced and for sure wasn’t good enough. Time has taught us enough to know that Ole was overachieving with that squad.
Forget all that, Ole was achieving all that with Ed Woodward as our DoF. I don’t see many managers being more successful with Woodward as their boss. There is a reason managers like Klopp and Pep didn’t accept the United manager role when Woodward would have been their boss. Most would agree that Berrada/Wilcox are better than Woodward. If Carrick is as good as Ole, we would be competing for the title soon.
Enzo Fernández has his eyes on Real Madrid, and Chelsea fans aren’t happy about it.
Ibrahima Konaté had been pushing for a move to Real Madrid or Bayern Munich for months, leaving Liverpool supporters frustrated as well.
Now even Rodri is reportedly keen on Real Madrid, sparking disappointment among Manchester City fans.
And then there’s Bruno Fernandes, wanted by every elite club in Europe, yet fully committed to Manchester United. A Red through and through! ❤️🇵🇹👏🏾
Bruno Fernandes' xA90 over his full seasons at Man United. He basically should've had at least 15 more assists than he has. That 2022/23 season was insane creation! And xA is a misleading stat because goal ≠ 1 xA to score. Many 0.2 xA chances are chances top players should score
I really hope we don't regret not signing a midfielder for cover today.
We're one Casemiro/Mainoo injury away from having to start Ugarte in midfield.
This does NOT work. We would almost definitely drop out of the European spots.
If that happens, it's on INEOS.
🚨🗣️ Dimitar Berbatov:
"Michael Carrick invited me to talk with Benjamin Sesko last week. We had a positive discussion about organizing his physical conditioning and decision-making in finishing chances in front of goal.
He will become a prolific goal scorer and one of the top strikers in the future at this club."
🚨🎙️ | Ruben Amorim COOKS:
“I remember that all the media and fans were saying that a Manchester United manager must have a philosophy and an identity.
Everyone was saying that when the previous coach said he couldn’t play the same way here as he did at his former club. Everyone was saying that he had been hired for his philosophy and his style of play, and that he wasn’t applying it here.
So, the system isn’t the problem. It’s the results. If you don’t win, people will point the finger at something. We will change our way of playing, but it will take time. I do things at my own pace.
If I look at the matches, I think we’ve been unlucky. Luck that we can turn around by being more aggressive and more confident. Sometimes we play well, but it lacks conviction.”
ISN’T THIS THE TRUTH?
