My Savior lives today! If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, let today be the day you choose to follow Him. Happy Resurrection Day! https://t.co/134SIk5cg1
I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.
I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.
Delight vs. Desire
Do you delight in the Lord, and desire Him?
Or are you delighting in the world? Desiring it more?
That path is narrow, but He’s the only way.
I am not better than anyone on here, I am just a child of God and we're all equal in the sight of God.
My major concern is winning more souls to God's kingdom.
Come to light, accept Jesus Christ today and live in his Grace.
To my fellow pastors:
When we are old men and no longer able to preach, it will be days like this that we'd give anything to be able to come back one more time and charge the field with fire in our eyes, love in our hearts, and a Bible in our hands.
In the words a pastor friend of mine texted this morning, "Preach like they're all dangling over hell and the only hope they've got is what they hear this morning."
All gas, no brakes to the glory of God...
It's Friday.
The soldiers nail the Savior's hands to the cross. They nail the Savior's feet to the cross. They raise him up next to criminals. The earth trembles. The sky grows dark. The King yields his spirit.
It's Friday. But, Sunday's comin'.

I learned something new about the reality hell that I'd never seen until my sermon prep this past week.
Listen closely to what Jesus says in the parable of the sheep and the goats 👇
The Bible really happened, y'all.
The real Jesus died on a real cross for the real you and really rose from the dead, so that if you give Him your life He can really change it forever.
The Holy Bible was written by 40 different men, over a time span of 1500 years, access 3 continents, written in 3 different languages, and with 45,000 cross references.
One united story.
Zero contradictions.
Only God can make that happen.
Lord God,
Please fill my heart with Your peace.
Calm my thoughts, quiet my fears, and remove all restlessness within me.
Let Your peace guard my mind and guide my actions.
Help me release anger, worry, and pain from the past.
Give me patience, understanding, and a gentle spirit.
May peace flow into my home, my relationships, and my future.
I place everything in Your hands and choose to trust You.
Amen 🙏
