@PpeterPeter I visited it in 1991 and it was hard to photograph because of the number of trees around it. It’s wonderful, though less so on the inside. Grafton Architects do a similar Lutyens thing in Milan where you set back one plane at a time.
WOW ❤️❤️❤️
I am still completely overwhelmed.
Ten of thousands of people in the streets of London today.
With a message of togetherness and strength in unity.
The @MarchForRejoin has exceeded all expectations.
This is so inspiring. Keep going.
We still love you.
It is extraordinary how the word Brexit is never mentioned in relation to this chaos. Journalists expediently forget sometimes they should - in addition to who, what and when - answer the question why?
It’s wonderful to see @euromove, @euromovescot & @WalesForEurope all supporting the @MarchForRejoin in London on 10 September.
We will be there, of course, along with pro-European groups from across the UK.
We want our star back!
The road to Rejoin starts here. 🇪🇺
20mph limits aren't "woke" or "nanny-state" but simply the most cost-effective way to maximise the use of our public spaces that we call streets to enable them to be also used safely, comfortably and without fear by children and adults who want to walk and cycle.
Imagine the spaces and places around #FinsburyPark station, not as a place where you hold your breath…but where you breath freely and linger. #PeoplePower#transformation
Searching for the simple words "women's football" on YouTube yields a ton of results about "hilarious moments", "fails" and videos of players getting slapped on the bum.
Search for "men's football" and you'll see videos celebrating impressive goals and manoeuvres.

🚌 It's no good capping fares if there are no buses to catch.
Every town, village and city across the country should have regular and reliable bus services.
🧵 Thread.
The developer behind plans to transform Anglia Square has slammed an alternative vision claiming it will cost £100m of taxpayers' money. https://t.co/4G6GVloSZw
The proposals, designed by @ashsakula and commissioned by @SAVEBrit would see 773 low-rise homes built to match the area's historic street pattern

Thx for your coverage of our alternative vision for #AngliaSquare, @EveningNews👍We'd love to know what people think of our idea to repair the mistakes of the 1960s with attractive streets of homes designed for real people & to restore historic bldgs that survived WWII & the 60s.
