@JoshPateCFB The 'claim' of national championships by any and every school. Are we measuring 'modern era', all-time, etc. Make it simple, no trophy, no claim.
Boss: Hi, just a heads-up that I’m going to be leaning on you to help train the new manager, Jack. Thanks in advance.
Gen Z : I’m sorry, which part of this makes sense to you?
Boss: Excuse me?
Gen Z : On February 19, you stated that I was “not qualified” for the same manager position you’re now asking me to train someone else for.
Boss: That’s different.
Gen Z : Not really. If I’m not qualified to hold the role, I’m definitely not qualified to teach it.
Boss: We just need your support during the transition.
Gen Z : Unfortunately, I’ll have to decline.
Boss: And why is that?
Gen Z : Because I’ve accepted a Senior Manager position at another company.
Boss: You’re leaving?
Gen Z : Yes. My last day is Friday.
Boss: You could have mentioned that sooner.
Gen Z : You could have promoted the person already doing the work sooner.
Boss: This puts the team in a difficult spot.
Gen Z : I trust the team will completely fall apart without me.
Boss: That’s unnecessary.
Gen Z : So was asking me to train the person hired for the job you said I wasn’t qualified to do.
Boss: I see.
Gen Z : Wishing you nothing but the worst.
@CFBKings Bama, Ole Miss(without Chambliss), and Vandy too high. Bama gonna lose 3-4 games again, Rebels and Dores falling back to earth next season. UGA overrated, Texas has potential, who knows about Aggies
HR Asked for 5 Minutes—After an employee's Resignation
Two weeks ago, Andrew walked into the HR manager’s office.
He wasn’t upset.
He wasn’t angry.
And that was what worried HR the most.
He sat down.
Placed his resignation letter on the table.
And said, with a calmness that hurt:
“Thank you for everything. I’ve already made my decision.”
HR asked him for five minutes.
- Not to convince him.
- Not to negotiate.
Just to understand.
They offered him a coffee and asked what many managers ask first:
“Is it the salary? Another offer?”
Andrew shook his head.
His voice broke as he said something he had held in for far too long:
“I feel invisible. No one listens to me. No one sees me.”
That’s when HR understood everything.
Andrew had gone from being the most committed employee
to someone who simply showed up and met the schedule.
And like many leaders do,
HR had mistaken silence for stability.
HR signed the resignation.
Andrew left.
But his words stayed.
👉 People don’t quit just for money.
👉 They resign when they no longer feel they matter.
👉 They resign when speaking up feels useless.
So let me ask you—honestly, without filters:
Who are you ignoring on your team?
Who is tired of asking for space without making a sound?
Because talent doesn’t leave overnight.
First, it checks out emotionally.
