But $XRP has finally broken out of the downtrend from July 2025.
The year-long compression is over.
Here's how I expect the $XRP chart to play out:
$1.10 → $1.40 → $1.80
$1.80 → $1.60 → $2.20
$2.20 → $2.80 → $3.60
The explosive expansion can hit at any moment.
Don't say I didn't warn you.👀
You might want to see this..
$XRP has previously set its macro floor a few months ahead of BTC: June 2014 & June 2022 (both midterm years) marked the bottom well before BTC's confirmation in Q4.
If $1.08 holds while BTC marks a new low, there is a slim chance the bottom is in.
However, this does not rule out the potential for further weakness: In 2018 (another midterm year) $XRP's structural bleed extended that of Bitcoins.
From this viewpoint alone, cases exist both for and against the idea of a bottom being placed already.
One thing is for certain. Midterm years are and continue to be bearish for $XRP: 2014/2018/2022 and now a 70% decline into 2026. Maybe useful for the next midterms/cycle. Who knows.
From a data led point of view it is essentially balanced with no outcome yet. I wanted to showcase a similarity. No bias. No confirmation. Just historical rhythms.
🇪🇸 #Urgente | Cazan a uno de los filo-etarras que acosaba y perseguía aficionados de la Selección Española en Bilbao durante el mundial trabajando como reportero para un medio local llamado Geuria.
2013, 2017, and 2021 were real bull markets.
2024/2025 was a sandboxed, simulated bull market within a restrictive/sideways macro regime.
Any attempt to compare 2025 to previous bull years, or 2026 to previous bear years, is completely ridiculous and will lead to silly, dead-wrong targets.
Yes, like the mighty $30K target.
$XRP
This coin performed relatively bad recently.
Time to pay attention imo.
Out corrective chop since January 2025 should end soon.
HTF = Bull
LTF = Bull
The LTF wave count and triangle + retest made buy big on this coin for the first time since 2021/2022.
Higher.
$BTC This is probably the real count in yellow btw
5 waves up
All movement after that was BS/corrective PA
Correction that sweeps the highs
The confusion at the time (before breaking down) was all centered around the idea of an EXTENEDED 5th (a longer "extended" 5th wave) for the blow-off-top that never came
It was a great run, but it wasn't a true blow off top
Elliott wave did its job just fine. It was 5 clean waves and then corrected higher, made a wedge, and that was the end. The correction higher looked like the start of an extended fifth, after it started breaking down, clearly it wasn't
There was no ALT blow-off-top or true alt season there
Now looking forward to if #BTC will continue following the expanded flat/gold fractal pattern
Personally, I would like to hold the $56K area and reverse
If this doesn't hold and we accelerate down through the 50Ks, then stick a fork in it, probably $36K will be the bottom on a final 5 wave drop (with the latest move from $82K to $58K already being subwave 1)

'Will Ripple just burn the escrow?' They can't. Ripple runs 3 of 35 trusted validators, and any change needs ~80% consensus. They can lock XRP in escrow, but torching supply takes 28 other independent validators voting yes. Decentralization, in practice.
🇪🇸🗣️ Rodri: "When I was at Villarreal, I was very good with the ball at my feet, but I was still a bit soft. Under Diego Simeone, I learned what it means to be the bad guy. To be a bit of a bastard on the pitch. To really tackle. To make the other team miserable for 90 minutes. That was another important piece."
"When I had the chance to move to Man City the following summer, it was a dream for me. I had spoken to Sergio Busquets before I agreed to the move, and he told me, “Pep? He is going to make you a better player. But he is never, never, never going to stop pushing you. You will never be finished.”
"Sergio had the same role with Pep, and he achieved so many great things, so I put a lot of trust in his words. And he was completely right." (Players Tribune)
