@McDonaldsUK@mcdfleetwood absolutely terrible customer service, told to use the app to resolve and that was just as bad. Didn’t want to do this on social media but the response is so bad I felt I had to
@JVMonte2 Saw Coldplay at the smallest stage at Leeds festival around 99(?), not my cup of tea but you could tell they would go on to bigger and better things. Ditto with Muse
@DarrenHumphri12@NotOrangePod Agreed. It's still quite worrying but given the state we've been in so far I don't think we can turn our nose up at that return.
Congratulations to the PFA’s very own Peter Clarke, who completed his 1000th career appearance last night 👏
Clarke is the 53rd player in world football to become a member of the 1000 club 🔥
I am so sad to hear about the death of Jane Goodall. She spent a lifetime teaching us that, as humans, we are no more entitled to our glorious planet than the animals she so lovingly protected. We have lost someone remarkable.
Jane Goodall died today. While smarter and more informed people will talk about her work, I want to share a snippet from her Wikipedia page - the two greatest paragraphs ever on Wikipedia. The first parts are amusing and interesting, but the last sentence elevates it to high art.
We've lost the legendary Ricky Hatton and suddenly everyone is like "if you're struggling, speak to someone", but we've literally spent years playing down mental health, denying people disability benefits, and acting like depression is not a real illness. This has to change.
