HOWEVER, you should know that the only time you hear AB's real voice is when he sings as the '50s Elvis. By the time the movie gets to the 1968 (black leather) TV special, it's all Elvis' voice, although we still get to hear a little bit of AB when he's rehearsing

Ron Tutt was one of the greatest musicians to ever grace the stage and someone I was fortunate enough over the years to befriend & sit and chat with.
If I count the times that I saw Elvis (23) and Neil (17), it would mean that I saw Ron Tutt live in concert more times than anyone

@mojoman366 @NeilDiamond Allow me to answer this one... Neil wrote and recorded it first. It was released as a single in 1969.
It got to #3 on Biillboard and #1 on Cashbox (back then there were two charts).
Elvis began singing the song live in his Vegas shows about 6 months later
