We were playing liquid football because we attacked teams and let our world class defence cover for us. We weren’t focusing 90% of our gameplan around that defence, that the difference.

In 23/24 we had a very similar attack but we were incredible going forward. They haven’t all just randomly fallen off, it’s clearly the cowardly system.

@lawrence_bury Arsenal fan here and I 100% agree. Obviously we won the PL so we’re happy but that was a fucking cowardly performance in a big game and we had waaaay too many of them this year. If we’re serious about our standards, that seriously has to improve next season.

Feels like we didn’t go for it.
