I’ve found it amazing. With a decisive prompt that includes goals, relevant files, and supporting information it nearly gets it perfect the first time. Good code too, not slop. Add in build, lint, unit test checking, it’ll keep going to 100% or get stuck on a bug you’d only see with end to end testing. Tell it why it got stuck and it’ll correct itself. It does eat tokens like my pug eating food that fell from the table though.
@zeeg Someone on our team was actually scientific and gave Opus 4.7 in claude code and Codex the same prompt on the same task. Codex succeeded each of the 3 challenges. Opus 4.7 succeeded 2/3 but supposedly took forever and wasn’t as good in its success.
@AnthropicAI, when are we going to acknowledge that Opus 4.7 is terrible and pull it? Everyone I know has either switched to Codex or a different model. Claude code went from replacing devs to not being as good as a junior dev on Opus 4.7.
@pissed432043@GigglingGanon it’s old and gaskets are paid by the customer as opposed to his unpaid labor costs if that old gasket failed and he had to redo the service on his own dime.
Your iPhone has a setting called "Prioritize Faster Shooting."
It's ON by default.
It silently reduces the quality of your photos every time you tap the shutter quickly.
That's just 1 of 8 settings Apple ships wrong out of the box.
I fixed all 8. My photos look like a completely different phone took them.
Steal them:
@it_unprofession Just do smart switches (I like TP-link). Use whatever cheap bulb you want, and you can schedule on/off times, home integration, plus old school flip the switch action.
@cybrtrkguy Yea this is why range extenders really should be required on trucks. You could have a 200 mile battery pack and be completely happy. probably even 150. Greatly reduce cost as well.
@denniscanter@bryan_johnson Facebook has more active groups. X communities are dead for the random things I care about. Maybe I’m doing X wrong but the only thing that has interesting activity is the main feed and people I follow.
@themoviedadsc If you have TSA pre-check, you have a good chance of basically walking right through or at least 30 min tops. If you have it and book kids on same ticket, they get it too.
@levelsio Try restarting. I feel like every new iPhone has the same type of problems and for some reason needs to be restarted as often as a Windows PC from the 2000’s. Then resolves itself eventually.
It used to be great. You get on family boarding group. So while there were no assigned seats, you didn’t have trouble sitting together as you boarded earlier. Now you can select some seats but like any airline, some are premium (cost extra) and other times there’s nothing left but middle seats.
