It's been a long time since I've done a YouTube video showing my latest haul of romance novels. But this huge lot came in the mail today, so I knew that I had to do an unboxing video! https://t.co/pXtwvChwqN
My latest YouTube video takes a look at four new comic books that were released today (May 20, 2026): ZORRO #1, BATWOMAN #3, SUPERMAN UNLIMITED #13 and the facsimile edition of SILVER SURFER #3. https://t.co/U7JiZGcdbT
TETRAGRAMMATON FRAGMENTS #283 was released last week. The issue is available via Paypal to [email protected] for $4 postpaid in the USA. I have also put a few copies up on eBay (for a slightly higher price) for folks who prefer to buy stuff that way. https://t.co/iF2dKagjVU
I've written a post on my blog today about the DC comics found at Dollar Tree stores. As far as I know, I've listed all of them that have been released so far. https://t.co/JKlgTdiVmu
I haven't made a YouTube video since last May, mainly because there didn't seem to be anything going on that was worth making a video about. But these recent DC comics at Dollar Tree seemed like a worthy subject for a YouTube video. https://t.co/mmx7zGYvMC
A recent eBay purchase: The June/July 1983 issue of HEART LINE, a magazine of romance novel reviews. Not as interesting as Romantic Times unfortunately (although this was less much expensive to acquire).
Here are the final sale prices of those 8 issues of ROMANTIC TIMES that sold today on eBay. I didn't bid on any of them, though. Instead I bought an early 1980s romance-novel news magazine for $10 (including P&H) that most have never heard of. More on that later when it arrives.
The first 10 issues of ROMANTIC TIMES magazine (back when it was a newspaper format) from 1981-82 have recently been listed on eBay. RT #8 & 9 actually sold a couple days ago, but the others all have bids on them right now. I'd bid on them myself, but they're pricey!
The 2025 UFO AWARD winners have been announced! You can find the list of winners on the official UFO (United Fanzine Organization) website at the link below. As a bonus, the link also shows the winners of the award way back in 1975! https://t.co/WiL8yzV38V

Next year, Harlequin Historical will have a novel featuring a suffragist for the heroine. (Not for the first time, of course.) I always find it interesting when real-life (and still relevant) politics are reflected in romance novels. https://t.co/wHNd9lfBg8
TF #281 is available for $4.00 postpaid in the USA, or $5.00 USD postpaid in Canada. Payment can be made via Paypal to [email protected] Copies are available on eBay, for those who prefer to buy that way (although listed at a higher price there to take into account eBay fees).
TETRAGRAMMATON FRAGMENTS #281 (October 2025) was released this week. T-Frags is the long-running newsletter of the UFO (United Fanzine Organization) and each issue consists of articles and reviews from the members. https://t.co/FAB6ClIRRb
I updated today my blog listing old category romance lines (1965-1989) to add an entry for Macfadden/Manor's "Starlight Romance" line of the early 1970s. This is a different line than the hardcover "Starlight" line published by Doubleday in the 1980s. https://t.co/tvBLBdpHJR
@ArtOfTheClinch I have the article as a PDF at the link below:
https://t.co/aVjEJeObOJ It originally appeared in Collectors' Club Newsletter #123 (Nov. 2018), which is a small-press/fanzine publication. That was the first article that I ever wrote about romance novels.
I began buying romance novels in April 2018, and by October I'd written an article about the genre that was printed in the Collectors' Club Newsletter #123 (Nov. 2018). The article ran 7 pages, so the first 4 pages are shown here and the remaining 3 pages will be in my next post.
