This is a common question I receive, and the honest answer is, yes. If you’re not giving your body enough time to rest and recover, you won’t be able to perform at your best during the next workout and even worse, you can put yourself at risk of an injury. Most athletes find it tough to take a rest day, but it’s absolutely necessary.
