@FutureFens What are you doing to them? They look remarkably similar to the one's that we're replacing at Keadby with new fish friendly pumps. Keadby was also built in the 1940s @EnvAgencyMids #Keadby

@KoalaChlo Top work on the DSE assessment!

Part of the EA's £35m Keadby Pumping Station Renewal is to update the outfall structure. Neither the chap in the photo nor the concrete has aged since the original 30s construction. There's a bit more safety gear needed now though! #Keadby @EnvAgencyMids @gallifordtry

Today’s #50teams50days takes us to the mighty Keadby pumping station-lifting water from the low lying Isle of Axholme into the Trent. The station was badly damaged in the 2013 coastal surge (just shows how far the sea came up eastern rivers!) and is now newly refurbed by team 29

Another beautiful day at Keadby delivering the EA’s £35m pumping station renewal including fish friendly pumps. #Keadby @EnvAgencyMids
