Police say a Tulsa man was arrested after neighbors reported something unusual happening at Redbud Creek Apartments near 71st & Memorial.

According to investigators, he allegedly accessed unsecured Wi-Fi routers throughout the complex and changed the network names to passive-aggressive neighborhood reminders.

Some reportedly included:

• TakeYourTrashCanIn
• YourGarageIsOpen
• StopLeafBlowingAt7AM
• PleasePickUpAfterYourDog
• WeCanHearYourMusic

Police say no passwords or personal information were stolen, but changing someone else’s router settings without permission is what led to the arrest.

Some neighbors are calling him a neighborhood hero.

Others say he crossed the line.

If one of those Wi-Fi names was directed at you… would you laugh or call the police?
