Right now, there isn’t much in the city code that specifically addresses rentals structured this way (homes that rent out individual bedrooms on a nightly basis vs the whole house).

Council Member Ron Hug is hosting a meeting to discuss AirBNBs in the area renting rooms by the night.

Neighbors have raised concerns about short-term rentals at 5222 A St, 3076 S. 48 St, and a few other nearby properties that are operating in a similar way. People have noticed frequent turnover, increased traffic, and activity that doesn’t feel consistent with the neighborhood.
