Subject: Urgent Petition for Repair of Road Leading to Future Kids School, Nanakramguda

Dear Municipal Authorities,
We would like to bring to your immediate attention the extremely poor condition of the road connecting the ORR Service Road to Future Kids School in Nanakramguda.

More than 2,000 schoolchildren, along with approximately 2,000 residents, use this road every day through school buses, cars, two-wheelers, and other vehicles. The road is currently in a dangerous and deplorable condition, with large potholes, uneven surfaces, waterlogging, and severe traffic congestion. This poses a serious safety risk, particularly to young children travelling to and from school.

Ongoing construction activities in the surrounding area have further damaged the road and clogged the nearby nalas and drainage channels. As a result, rainwater and wastewater are not draining properly, worsening the road conditions and creating health and safety concerns for students and residents.

We respectfully request the concerned authorities to take the following actions on priority:

1. Undertake immediate repair and resurfacing of the road.
2. Clear the clogged nalas and restore proper drainage.
3. Direct construction companies to repair the damage caused by heavy vehicles and debris.
4. Implement traffic and safety measures around the school route.
5. Establish accountability and regular monitoring until the issue is permanently resolved.

We urge the authorities to intervene before a serious accident or public-health incident occurs. The continued lack of action may leave parents and residents with no option but to escalate the matter through formal grievance platforms, media, and peaceful civic campaigns.

The safety of thousands of children and residents must be treated as an urgent priority. We request immediate inspection and time-bound corrective action.

CMC Must Prioritise Public Interest Over Selective Development Works @CMC_Offcl @MC_Cyberabad

The road connecting OU Colony to Marrichettu under Ward No. 127, Manikonda has been awaiting widening for several years. Despite repeated requests from residents and the ever-increasing traffic volume, the issue has received little attention from the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC).

During peak hours, this stretch witnesses severe traffic congestion, causing immense hardship to commuters, school children, senior citizens, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles. Instead of taking up this long-pending and strategically important road widening project, the CMC has chosen to widen the road inside Chitrapuri Society, raising serious questions about its priorities.

As per the approved bye-laws governing Chitrapuri Society, the responsibility for internal development works rests with the Society itself. Further, it is understood that roads, parks, open spaces and other civic amenities are required to be transferred to the Government through duly executed Gift Deeds before public funds can be utilised for their development. If these mandatory formalities have not been completed, on what basis is the Municipal Corporation spending public money on widening the Society’s roads? The CMC should clarify whether all statutory requirements have been complied with and why preferential treatment is being extended to one society while ignoring a vital public road that serves thousands of citizens every day.

Equally concerning is the continued inaction on the road-cum-box drain connecting the road opposite TRAILS to Road No. 10, Panchavati Colony. If this missing link is completed and made operational, it would significantly ease traffic congestion in the area by providing an alternate connectivity route. Despite its importance, no progress has been made.

Another serious issue that requires immediate clarification is how a large commercial complex was granted permission without ensuring the mandatory road access from two sides, as required under planning norms. Was due diligence carried out before according approval? If not, what compelled the City Planning authorities to grant permission? The circumstances create an impression of irregularities and warrant a transparent explanation from the concerned officials.

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation should immediately:

Take up the widening of the OU Colony–Marrichettu road on priority.
Complete and operationalise the road-cum-box drain from opposite TRAILS to Road No. 10, Panchavati Colony.
Publicly disclose the approvals, statutory compliances and Gift Deed status relating to the Chitrapuri Society road widening.
Order an enquiry into the approval granted to the commercial complex without adequate road connectivity and fix responsibility if any violations are found.

Public infrastructure must be developed based on necessity, traffic demand and public interest, not selective preferences. Citizens deserve transparency, accountability and equitable development.

Kokapet Rd (opposite Rockwell School) is heavily jammed daily. Roadwork is complete, but debris has remained for 4 days. Morning traffic is worst as office commuters and CBIT, MGIT & ICFAI buses use this route. This happened 2–3 months ago too. Kindly look into it.
