It seems to me like repubs are on the dim-witted, ultimately losing side of every issue. Climate change science? Nah. Gun control? Nah. Accessible health care? Naah. What do they want? Tax cuts for the rich! Trickle-down economics! Fossil fuels! Yeah, that's it, fossil fuels!
