We have two kinda of markets that go live on RobinMarkets.

1. Price markets: $AAPL, $NVDA, $TSLA and $SPY daily e.t.c ; $MSFT, Gold and $WTI weekly; $META and silver monthly ( ask whether an underlying closes above a threshold set from its price at creation. )

Price Markets are resolved Instantanously once they are due, our algorithm checks the prices of these assets in less than a second the moment the market resolves and send out rewards redeemable by the winners.

2. Event markets: SpaceX launches and valuations, Nvidia earnings beats, Fed rate decisions, S&P 500 stock splits, tokenized Treasury inflows (ask about outcomes with no price feed behind them. )

Event Markets are resolved manually, we have hired experts who already do this for us on our Testnet version.

The answer is pretty simple.

@RobinhoodApp was made to be the best chain for Real World Assets (RWAs) & Stocks and this was announced by the founder himself. So we are bringing this market to RobinHood Native users. We are hedging where these assets live.

Polymarket Global runs USDC on Polygon. If someone holds tokenized equities or T-bills on Robinhood Chain, hedging on Polygon means bridging out, posting different collateral, and holding an unrelated position.

On RobinMarkets the hedge sits beside the asset, same chain, same collateral, and your positions are ERC-1155 tokens other contracts can compose with. Polymarket cannot offer that without moving to RobinHood Chain.

For our Tokenomics as mentioned few days ago. Every penny from our creator fees will only be going into two things!

1. MarketMaking/Liquidity Pool - We need to have at least $20,000 in our Orderbook Liquidity so that users orders can be placed and resolved easily while we grow our numbers. Team has enough for our mainnet launch from our Treasury but we will still put all creator fees into the treasury to increase our pool size.

2. Community Airdrop: We will be rewarding our early testers starting a week from today with tokens and eth when we go mainnet.

The "Order is resting on the book" you see there is as a result of No other bets/Low liquidity pool. In a standard prediction markets, for your bet to be written in the order book it has to be placed against someone else. You win bets against someone else's.

If you place a "Yes" bet, and someone places a "No" bet. Then that order can be written because it has gotten someone to bet yours against.

However The Team is looking to take 2 approaches for this.

1. We will become our own Market Makers/hire one. So we will inject enough liquidity in the pool so that users orders can be placed immediately they predict and then will be sorted later when someone predicts otherwise - This is how standard prediction markets work

2. Get as many users to start using RobinMarkets as soon as we go mainnnet! If we can have 500+ DAU(Daily Active Users) upon mainnet launch then we wouldn't have to worry so much about the Liquidity pools, even though they still will be funded.

And Finally we would be doing some final touches to the Portfolio and Positions Dashboard to show more detailed information on the bets data!.
