My daughter goes out for the bus at 8:15, and waits beside the lilac bush until the bus arrives at 8:20.

She stayed home today.

At 8:17, a truck lost control, drove through the lilac before striking the pole.

Reminder that nothing in this world is random, God is in control. 🙏

@MDDavisDLG We have rolled both spring and fall; and missed the window in spring because it was too wet.

Ground is dry now, still pretty mellow from the drill rolling across it. Better chance of hammering the small stones down now.

Forage rye has nicely emerged.

Would it be a mistake to run a roller across it now? Trying to keep the stones out of the cutter next May.

The older I get, the more I appreciate the view from the top.
