Those red lines are not random repairs — they are the ghost routes of old chimneys.
On many older Paris buildings, fireplaces and stoves were connected to vertical terracotta or brick flues built into the walls. When a neighboring building is demolished or a side wall is exposed, these hidden channels can appear like reddish veins climbing toward the roof.
Each track marks where smoke once traveled from rooms on different floors to the chimney pots above.
“Only the total defeat of the Russian Federation and the Ukrainian flag in Sevastopol will knock the virus of empire out of the brains of Russians. Russians must see that the empire is dead."

The argument that “Europe’s declining share of world GDP proves EU failure” is completely false.
In PPP terms, the U.S. has fallen from around 24% of world GDP in 1980 to around 14.5% in 2026.
This is global convergence.
China went from roughly 2–3% of world GDP in 1980 to almost 20% in 2026. India is now around 8.5% of world GDP.
The EU still has only 5.5% of the world’s population and produces 14% of global GDP.
Asia and Africa together represent around 78% of the world’s population. They were always going to take a larger share as they industrialise, urbanise and accumulate capital.
Europe should not try to stop this.
Europe’s goal should be to preserve high living standards, strengthen business competitiveness through economic integration, attract foreign investment, and remain a key foreign-policy player through coordination and strategic integration.
On September 4, 1965, a young Ukrainian poet stood up in a Kyiv cinema during the premiere of Sergei Parajanov’s Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors and called on the audience to rise in protest against the secret arrests of Ukrainian intellectuals.
Twenty years later to the day, on September 4, 1985, that same poet died on a hunger strike in a Soviet labor camp deep in the russian Urals.
His name was Vasyl Stus. He was 47 years old. He is one of the greatest poets Ukraine has ever produced.

Today is the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression. For Ukrainians, this is a painful reality that has become part of everyday life.
Since 2022 alone, Russia has killed 707 Ukrainian children, injured 2,548, and left 2,318 missing. The youngest victim was just two days old - born and killed in a maternity hospital.
These figures may be far higher, as the full truth about what has happened in the temporarily occupied territories remains unknown. In addition, at least 20,470 Ukrainian children have been deported to Russia or forcibly displaced.
Eternal memory to all the children whose lives have been taken by Russia's aggression...
Israel has already broken the ceasefire in Lebanon by launching several attacks. The drone is hovering at low altitude over many areas. Photo is from Nabatieh.
🚨: It's after midnight in Gaza as Israel is blowing up civilian homes on an unprecedented scale in Gaza City.
Reports on the ground and eyewitnesses talk of charred bodies and massive destruction, coupled with a vast number of casualties.
Just so you guys are aware, Russia has a permanent seat and has been allowed to commit a soft genocide of Ukrainians by the UN. They murdered this pregnant woman in Mariupol and her baby in March of 2022. They continue to do so. Hypocrites.
