As of a few hours ago, Robinhood has disabled the API endpoint that Robintrack used to collect popularity data.
As a result, Robintrack will no longer be able to display updated data. The daily tweets will be discontinued, and no new data will be added to the website's charts.

Robintrack has been cited in over 40 research papers. Along with the data Robinhood provided, Robintrack gave unique visibility into the retail investing revolution catalyzed by COVID-19.

@VlanciPictures@mustafazr@zerohedge I can answer that here haha. Robinhood emailed me a few days before they shut it off and set up a phone call the next day to discuss it with me. They gave their reasoning for it and gave a few days of leeway before actually shutting it down. No names were provided, though.

@yemey_ No, haven't heard anything from Robinhood except that they are looking into to bring back the data in some form. No timeline or details, unfortunately.

Although this will be the end of Robintrack for the foreseeable future, the site will remain online with all data collected so far, available for download as usual.
