Reason 3️⃣: Ned Lamont has always put politics above public safety.

His administration paroled 44 convicted murderers, putting people who killed innocent victims back on Connecticut’s streets. He signed some of the most anti-police legislation in the nation, creating a recruitment and retention crisis for law enforcement. His policies contributed to years of rising shootings and homicides. Lamont’s agenda makes everybody less safe.

On November 3rd, let’s retire Ned Lamont and make our streets safer by giving law enforcement the tools to protect our communities, not by hamstringing them.

⛽️GAS TAX HOLIDAY NOW: I am calling for a gas tax holiday alongside my running mate and legislative colleagues immediately.

The governor agreed with Republicans to do so in 2022 when gas prices were high but refuses to do so in 2026? What has changed, other than politics?

The relief would be more-than-fully funded by the existing balance in the Transportation Fund.

We need leadership that responds and acts to make Connecticut affordable. I will.

Every time a Ned Lamont ad comes on TV, he’s lying to you. Here are the facts:

➡️Lamont said he’ll give “pay raises to teachers,” but he’s never proposed state pay raises for teachers in eight years and when asked by reporters about the ad admitted he won’t propose that in his next term. He admitted it’s untrue!

➡️Lamont claimed he reduced taxes but when you add up all his tax changes over eight years, he has raised taxes by over $400 million per year and $3 billion total, especially because of the size of his payroll tax and sales tax increases.

➡️Lamont said he urgently needed to give 25,000 residents millions for special state food stamps but after his self-imposed deadline he only issued 1,400 cards.

➡️Lamont said I oppose more education funding but I literally proposed a bill on the Senate floor this May (LCO #5768) to increase education funding to towns by $200 million and provide free meals to low-income students

Now you know why Lamont doesn’t want to debate until after people have voted. If he was confident in the merit of his record he wouldn’t be hiding instead of taking questions. It’s time for change.
