@SlangsOnSports The way he walks off the mound and puts his glove in his pitching hand, is a bad sign. It's what I used to do when my arm was barking. I'd say the odds are against him getting to the end of the season without blowing his arm up

@thecubreporter Acquiring significant long term pieces at the deadline is a recipe for failure. Cubs need to get rid of this mindset. Also, the fact that the 2027 season is most likely going to be shortened/completely canceled because superstar players won't accept a cap, should be considered

@Brett_A_Taylor In all honesty, does Skubal even make any sense? He would be a rental and would cost A LOT. I am absolutely all for bringing in SP, but probably need more than one. Unless Detroit is interested in taking on some of the long-term Cub contracts aka Swanson 🤣
