@melyork@PropPressAwards Congrats!
Our block has just been hit with a £35k shortfall that we need to collectively cover. Lights on 24/7 in communal areas with no sensors and numerous other backwards things which they don't seem interested in sorting.
@culturaltutor I agree mixed-use is great but you've really dumbed this down comparing a city centre example with some apartments to a suburban family housing development. There is a need for both.
@LaniLiu I worry about the next generation - all keyworkers and people not in well paid office jobs will be pushed out to Zone 6 and beyond. By that point, you arn't even getting the benefits of living in London.
@LaniLiu I think people in London feed themselves a narrative to justify it (as I did, lived there 10 years and was fortunate enough to buy but have just moved to Bristol due to flexible work). Unless you are going to the theatre every week and genuinely soaking it all up, not worth it.
Principal Tower, London, lighting up nightly with '50 storeys of joy, hope and love' to honour @NHS@NHSMillion workers over the festive period. #NHS#NHSHEROES
@Riya_Makwana@Savills@PropertyWeek Very positive news but still a long way to go. The investment and demand is there - local authorities now need to catch up with the planning side.
How reassuring: receptionist at solicitor said our property case has been handed over to xx person "but they are quite new and a bit overwhelmed by the workload so can be really slow in responding to stuff." F**K
@helenlcrane It's a bit left field but compared to some of those dodgy garden shed/studio/outhouses you see advertised for the same price (or more), not bad! Professionally managed at least..
