Hideo Kojima says he’s no longer interested in generative AI:
“Art is life. But in 50 years, 100 years, I don’t know. Maybe AI could create art, but while I live, I don’t think I’ll see it. I’m not interested in it.”
His comments come after the AI-generated ‘Satellites II’ project faced criticism for using AI-created versions of Kojima and Nicolas Winding Refn.
@merrph1@BlakesTakes2 it didnt need a payoff though. thats not really the point, to have a logical conclusion that explains everything. why would you need that? i think the sudden ending was a splendid move
@ExpertAtAll_ like i think you can see the difference between the beatles rockband that had john lennon in it, and tupac "starring" in stranger than heaven
@ExpertAtAll_ because they werent saying "KENNEDY IS STARRING IN THIS!!!!" it would be fine to put a real person in a game that way. its not ok to market the game saying that a dead person is starring in the game without their consent. one is mere parody, the other one is not
@max90175317@EPM106 yea but tupac didnt really sign up for this. hes not starring in the game, they didnt scan his face and neither did he record his voice lines (since hes dead lol). this is like wanting to hire robin williams for a movie and you hire a lookalike and say "guys omg its him!!!"
