I am proud to work for a school division that celebrates what I do in my Core French program. I am grateful for colleagues who encourage me to teach languages in a way that celebrates the Treaty 4 land we are on. I am proud of my students who led me to build these relationships.
Gretzky as the 'honourary" Canadian captain, comes out, gives the thumbs up to the USA bench, doesn't go to the Canadian bench, doesn't wear a Canadian jersey, surprised he wasn't wearing his MAGA hat. What a bloody Canadian disappointment Gretzky is...
Great news for SK schools! A project led by the SSBA has secured $1M in federal funding to expand school food infrastructure across the province.
This funding will help local organizations increase their capacity, ensuring more kids have access to nutritious meals at school.👏

We just kicked off our February Board meeting. We’re hearing from Montessori teacher Amber Nikolaisen and Grade 6 student, Atlas. They’re telling us what Montessori education looks like in a typical day: providing areas of inquiry and resources and then making space for students to learn independently. Montessori is available at Lakeridge and City Park schools. #SaskatoonPublicSchools #BoardOfEducation #montessori #yxe

Violence is often the result of students not receiving the professional support they need. Without proper support, the impact extends to everyone: students witness the violence, face classroom disruptions and are left to cope with the aftermath.
