What if #union members all agreed to cancel streaming subscriptions if they don’t give #wga#sag#afta fair contracts. Writers and actors, we have your backs. Teachers, laborers, nurses, etc. will love it when it’s your turn to have ours too!
If our country cared about its people the same way it cares about rich corporations that it bails out, forgives PPP loans for, and creates tax shelters for, we wouldn’t be in this situation. Christian values for abortions and marriage but not for debt, the poor, healthcare, etc.?
@RELEVANTpodcast I am all for reparations for black Americans, largely because I shut up and listened to people’s lived experiences. Let’s apply that same principle to people suffering under student loan debt. My generation was told to go to college to survive in this country so
We did. Most of us couldn’t afford it and couldn’t afford not to. Now, as a teacher with a social worker wife, we can’t afford basic survival let alone pay back loans we were basically forced to take. As a veteran, I did everything “right”, and it still wasn’t enough.
@taylornation13 Can we extend it to a week? I don’t get paid until next Friday. ☹️
I was looking forward to wearing it at school when the AC is too cold.
@taylornation13 I’d stand with shaky hands, all eyes on me, and I scream for whatever it’s worth, “I love you! Ain’t that the worst thing you ever heard?!”
@feelin20836 @MMarasciullo @ninaturner Man, you just never quit with the forcing your opinions on others. I don’t fit in your gross 1950s box, dude. Move on.
@taylorswift13 The heavy beat on “Dear John” has always intrigued me so much, and it is so beautifully haunting. It’s like it waits for the last beat of the measure and feels like it symbolizes yearning or being strung along. It’s always had me! Thank you for your version!
