@NCDOT just notified us they are closing Gilead Rd, at Bud Henderson for an emergency tree removal, starting at 8AM. This is expected to take most of the day. Detours will be posted along the route.

Around 3:45 this morning, the Gilead/US21 contractor hit a 10” water main on Gilead next to Burn Boot Camp. Currently, Marguerite Lane is closed until they can complete the repair. The water from the break is running down Gilead Road toward Autobell.
