Florida: where you can watch historic space launches from the beach.
By some estimates, tomorrow's launch may be the most well-attended space launch in Florida history.
Our state is proud to be home to incredible milestones like this in human history and space exploration!
Florida Space Day was truly out of this world 🚀
We celebrated the innovators, infrastructure, and leadership that make up The Florida Model—a proven approach that keeps Florida the global hub for aerospace commerce.
Miami-Dade’s next frontier starts now.
Productive meeting in Tallahassee with Majority Leader @tylersirois and Senator @AlexisCalatayud advancing Spaceport legislation and other initiatives that move our community forward. 🚀

Spaceports = infrastructure. Now the tax code agrees!
Huge thanks to @SenAshleyMoody, @SenRickScott, @SenatorLujan, @DrNealDunnFL2 and @RepCarbajal for leading the charge to make spaceport bonds tax-exempt. Unlocking further access to capital strengthens U.S. space leadership.
An amazing first day @parisairshow. Grateful for @GovRonDeSantis’ leadership of the delegation that is setting the standard—globally—for how to do business with aerospace companies! Ready for Day 2!
Today I welcomed industry and state leaders to the Florida Pavilion at the 55th International Paris Air Show. Our delegation includes 15 Florida-based companies, 6 higher education institutions, and 6 airports. Our goal here is to bring jobs and investment to the state of Florida.
I’m also proud to announce that one of the major manufacturing companies at the air show, Otto Aviation, is relocating its global headquarters to Jacksonville and building an advanced manufacturing facility at Cecil Airport. This landmark investment will create hundreds of high-wage jobs for Floridians and reinforce our state’s reputation as a global leader in aerospace.
I sponsored and my colleagues passed a resolution supporting @SenAshleyMoody , @SenRickScott , @MikeHaridopolos , urging Congress to pass the Cape Canaveral Act to bring NASA HQ to Florida, and realize the benefits of aerospace training and jobs here in Miami-Dade.
🚨NEW BILL ALERT🚨 Florida is on the forefront of American space dominance. Today, we are cementing that legacy.
I introduced the Secure U.S. Leadership in Space Act to increase investment in our space infrastructure.
We are grateful for @SenAshleyMoody and @DrNealDunnFL2 for taking on adding “spaceports” to qualify to issue tax exempt bonds. Florida leads the way in normalizing space as a mode of transportation!
Great article by @Florida_Today. Just one of the many ground-breaking activities @SpaceFlorida gets to be involved in. Record breaking autonomous vehicles on the ground…what’s next in air and space?!?
