@PeterMcCormack Short term thinking is more ideal to someone on the poverty line. Longer term ideals sadly is less common. This may also be the difference why certain people become more successful.
@stevepennick@Wizardman37@moving_charlie I looked after their finances. Many had £40-£60k in savings. The salary a carer gets makes it incredibly difficult to accumulate that amount.
@moving_charlie I have been trying to answer this same question. I have noticed many brits have got used to a luxury they can no longer afford. No one wants to reduce their standard of living even if it means the collapse of their own country.
@Wizardman37@moving_charlie I used to take care of disabled people. They used to have more in savings than the care workers taking care of them. Most of the money went to the family when they passed.
@EscobedoIA72 Ok but say I can work two jobs at the same time better than two seperate employees. I address this openly with the employer. Who is going to hire me with that level of honesty?
@SamCKx They have started to crack down on immigration because they do not want to lose power to these "grifters" without their pressure they would not have done their U turn.
