The Athletic All-State Wall is being transformed, & all plaques have been taken down. A new format is coming. I grabbed a bunch from athletes I have worked with. If you or someone you know would like to have yours, private message me and we can figure out a time to get together.
Most importantly I am grateful for the fond memories of friendships I made along the way. I was fortunate to work with amazing people of integrity that had a strong impact on me as a husband, father and as a person. Looking forward to my next chapter in life.
After 42 years of coaching, I have decided to hang up my whistle and stopwatch. Being a Track and Cross Country coach was very rewarding. It was an incredible ride and I'm taking away some amazing experiences.
@LHSBlueJays@PrepsKC@LHSJAYS@810varsity @metrosports_mk Congratulations to Coach Frigon, his coaching staff and all student athletes. What an impressive run.
One of the joys of coaching is watching former LHS runners continue their running career at the next level and being successful. All 3 scored for their respective teams.
I took this picture of a rainbow from the State bus. My cohort Jordan English thrives on competition and said the picture he took was far superior. I posted both and let the viewers decide
One of the fastest 4 x 800s I can recall. 8 teams under 8:00. The team of Connor Nicholson, Jace Graham, Patrick Cleary and Jaeger Hicks secured a spot on the podium by placing 5th. Proud of this group.
A time honored tradition is doing our pre-meet at the MKT trail in Columbia Mo. Ran to the chorus of Cicadas this year. They almost stepped on a juvenile black rat snake. I was running behind them. I think they should have laid their body over the snake to protect their coach.
These young men punched their way to State by placing third in an extremely competitive field. PRs from Patrick Cleary (left) 1:56 and Connor Nicholson (right) with a time 1:54.004
Watch out school record.
