@metallidan Look up Silver Lake in the Salisbury/Goshen area. Great trails / ancient roads around and by the lake. Beautiful lake. Picnic there or down at Branbury SP on lake Dunmore. Also, you can visit Satan’s Kingdom while there (maybe Vts weirdest place name).
@metallidan Merck Forest & Farmland in Rupert has nice trails and cool cabins to rent. Jamaica state park is awesome and there’s a neat little town center there. Quarries in Pawlet and West Pawlet - good running on the dirt roads around there. Really wild areas down there south of Manch.
When you fly thousands of miles across the pond to support @Everton and you get to meet @court_brosnan18 after the @EvertonWomen match 😍
A moment these 🇺🇸 Toffees will never forget. Thanks to Courtney for meeting with these Blues!
@CharlesPPierce Was at the game. Can confirm. For stretches Crystal Palace fans were the loudest noise in the place. Hard to overstate the angst and exhaustion from the last two+ years among Everton fans. But it got loud in the last 20 minutes.
Born not manufactured. As an American it felt hard to relate to this, until I made my pilgrimage and found the pub and street to be my family name. Second time around and it’s just as amazing as the first time. UTFT 💪🏼 #ToffeesOnTour24
The Grand Old Lady" under the lights. One of the finest sights in football. Tomorrow, we will welcome our friends from across the pond. A big shout out for our friends from @NAToffees for the support they continue to give our initiative.

@b_mccloy@NWSBurlington Had to drive to BTV this am. Snowing steady through Pittsford, then very light until north of Middlebury, then pretty hard. Barely had a dusting in the city when we left around 6:30.
Bryan MacFarlane, 40, was participating in a cornhole tournament at Schemengees Bar and Grille Restaurant. He was part of the local deaf community and was one of the first deaf people in the state of Vermont to get his commercial trucking driver's license.
@ChristopherJM@mkimmage@americanpurpose Can recommend as a solid journalistic narrative of the last 10 years of war in the region, with insight into Ukraine’s steady transition out of the Soviet shadow. Молодец!
“In his rendering of the contrast between war and peace, peace and war, Christopher Miller has given us an invaluable record of Ukraine’s past and present.”
Thank you, @mkimmage and @americanpurpose, for the kind review of my book The War Came To Us.
