🐗Denunciamos la nefasta actuación de la Policía Municipal y los Agentes Rurales la madrugada del 17 de julio en el parque de Roc Blanc. Varios jabalíes, incluidas sus crías, fueron abatidos a tiros en plena zona urbana bajo el pretexto del control de la Peste Porcina Africana.

❌Matar "por si acaso" sin realizar pruebas previas no es ciencia ni prevención: es crueldad. Disparar fuego real de madrugada junto a las viviendas no solo dejó a crías desorientadas y en peligro de atropello, sino que puso en riesgo la vida de los propios vecinos.

🚨 ANOTHER NYC CARRIAGE HORSE IS DEAD. 🚨

Tonight, 16-year-old carriage horse Deniz struggled in agony and took his final breaths after collapsing while pulling a carriage with passengers in Central Park. Parkgoers watched in horror. Many were sobbing, hugging one another, and left devastated by what they had just witnessed.

We will be on the steps of City Hall on Wednesday, June 10 at 12 PM for the reintroduction of Ryder’s Law. There is no more time for delays. @NYCCouncil @SpeakerMenin, @Lynn4NYC and @NYCMayor must advance and pass Ryder’s Law before another horse dies or another runaway carriage puts lives at risk.

DENIZ SHOULD BE THE LAST.

I OPPOSE the Save Our Bacon Act and any attempt to jam it into the Farm Bill.

This bill would gut state food safety and animal welfare laws, wipe out voter-approved protections, and strip states like NY of the right to set basic standards.

It's a giveaway to Big Ag and meat monopolies, punishing family farmers who followed the rules, while giving the biggest corporations more power to squeeze farmers and families.

Congress should be lowering food costs, not rewarding the monopolies driving them up. The Save Our Bacon Act does not belong in the Farm Bill, and I will fight to keep it out.
