Other projects have been working with beauty salon Hula Beauty in Hackney & retro clothing brand Ozone Clothing on their stores.
Lots to show, but had no brain capacity to post! 2026 is an exciting year! π
On Monday I start my first permanent Shopify/web dev role. Let's go! π€π»
I've been working as a Digital Content Assistant at Hush to help them repeat form to Centra!
Such a lovely bunch of people & company to be a part of... so many women!
My last day was today and it's surprisingly sad to leave my lovely team π«Άπ»

Working away on some #Shopify projects still. Lots of space for new clients so please get in touch!
This week I've been adding consistent size charts to product pages. Much neater + doesn't clog up the product description any more. π«‘ππ»

Before + after
Feel like this is now a situation of being ghosted! Despite organising a call with them (upon request) to fit their tight deadline when I wasn't feeling well.
Hopefully I'm wrong, but why do recruiters/companies ghost... especially if they made contact first?
Enjoying using @squarespace to put together a site for the first time! Unfortunately not much code to add because of the basic plan but it's still satisfying :)
Is it a common thing that clients don't reply for days then produce a stupid request with a 30min deadline?
Then you manage expectations, put in work until 2am & ask something basic from them (they can get to the stage they want) with 8+ hrs notice and they don't reply again?
Wup wuuup, another rejection... today for @CodeFirstGirls CFG Degree.
No feedback makes it hard to know how to improve, I did really think my video interview was a lot better this time.
Will it be worth applying again? The next round would be for a 2026 start date.
Long time.
I struggled with the Makers tech test and only managed to finish 2/4 tasks within the time, when my answers were right but the tests were showing as wrong.
It was due to me not deleting print requests but it took up time and rattled me!
I got the rejection today, no surprise.
Honestly I've been struggling a bit mentally these last few weeks (not because of work/code related things) which has made applying and enthusiasm pretty tough to rustle up.
Trying to push through and remember the only way to make change and progress is to get myself up and go.
Saying this, I've also been applying for full time roles and haven't had one reply back, which is typical but not hugely encouraging.
I'm also unsure about if I should apply for the CFG Degree which could result in a Sept starting job to get my foot in the door...
