@ChadinRipCity His ideas aren't "marxist", they're communist. I'm not even defending Marx (fyi Marx saw benefits of capitailism but also its issues) but people carelessly throw that word around as ignorantly as facist gets thrown around. Don't be one of those dudes.
@SleeperBlazers I love that he has passionate fans here but it's reached Billy Ray Bates level of cultiness. Somebody else is responsible that's not Shaedon himself. He's had the opportunity but playmaking for others, decision making and defense continue to be weak spots. 6th man is his future.
@PDXReal1 Some of this is just anti-portland BS. Y'all would get more on your side if didn't consistently stretch the truth. It's unnecessary. There's enough real facts to get the point across. You just force your opposition to double down on their worst impulses. Perhaps you want that?
@DannyMarang The conundrum for Portland is having the right star become available and be willing to come here all at the right time. How long will they hold on to their assets until that happens?
@SwishBruhYT Tenants pay for cosmetic renovations. We're not talking about the plumbing here. It's a cosmetic remodel at the demands of the tenant, so he can make good on his personal investment . I dont think he should pay the whole thing but neither should the city.
@shaesharpeshow Because he's demanding it in an ultimatum?
Every sports league should require the owner to provide a minimum. Not the whole thing but certainly if they're going to make demands they should have to pay some of the bill.
@BlazersLead They'll wait forever to get somebody remotely close to Brown's level in that case. They're only gonna have so many shots to land a star, something Portland has never really done. Closest was Buck Williams. Also, Dame is old, terrible defender and super short term at PG.
@BlazeEnthusiast If ownership of the team is a passion project, one where they'll be willing to lose some money vs attempting to make the asset more profitable as an investment we'll be fine. But if its about flipping the team in 10 years...it won't be good.
@JonesOnTheNBA Ginobli is the first guy I think of, just bigger/stronger. If he could get a consistent jump shot and improve his FT%, he'd be a MVP candidate.
@olympicbean Kobe Bryant's contonuous deitizing by his cult followers is really something. I wish he was around today because even he would laugh at how absurd has become.
@NBA__Courtside@ESPNNBA One ping pong ball per team is awful. Fringe playoff teams would tank so hard. And could keep terrible teams even more terrible for longer. 95% of teams need to draft their star. The other ideas aren't terrible though
@ChadinRipCity 99.9% of all new music "sucks" is an opinion of somebody who hasn't been socially relevant in at least two decades and leans heavily into nostalgia to help guide them through the remainder of their life.
@ChadinRipCity Screw Seattle. And I'm tired of being forced fed Seattle Sports. In every instance where the two cities are in the same league, they're heated rivals like they should be. Stop insisting I to cheer for Seattle. Mariners suck, Seahawks suck, Kraken suck, Sonics suck. Sounders suck.
