#Louisiana head baseball coach Matt Deggs has announced his starting rotation for #OpeningWeekend next weekend at home against Missouri State.

On Friday, it’ll be Ty Roman, the 6’3 Jr. lefty transfer from San Jac. Last season, Roman put up a 2.81 ERA with a 9-1 record in 11 starts out of 12 games. He pitched 51.1 innings and two complete games, recording 42 strikeouts.

On Saturday, it’s JR Tollett, the Jr. standout righty from last season, who appeared in 17 games (11 as starter) and led the team in wins (6), ERA (3.51), and innings pitched (77.0) and was named NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week for his complete game shutout of James Madison, dealing 11 strikeouts and allowing 4 hits.

And closing out on Sunday, it’s Andrew Herrmann, the graduate student who was second for the Cajuns in innings pitched last season (70.1), while battling injuries through the season. He finished 3-5 with two saves and an ERA of 4.99 in 18 appearances (12 starts) and pitched a complete game in his debut against Nebraska, recording 9 strikeouts and giving up 4 hits in the series clinching victory.
