@simonyemane Ange just confirms what has been obvious for a long time. Big club ambitions but not happy to spend money to get there faster. Then back a manager long term and build something of more value? Not happy doing that either! It's a big show & robbing the fans or incompetence..
@simonyemane Best bit was how livid Frank was when Biss lost the ball trying to progress through the middle! Out wide or backwards Biss!!! ahaha. The fans are talking with their feet now, empty seats every game...
@sufferingspurs The logic would suggest the Ange sacking deflated the squad. Frank isn't a motivator. Premier league is a slog, the Champions league a self motivating showpiece. Hence the obvious differences in performance level..
@world_classe The Vid made it look like Vicario had just caught the ball from a Monaco header. Anyway, the build up is a mild 'bait the press' but they never create a man advantage, so largely pointless. The ball goes long anyway. Monaco always have enough players to cover everything.
@AllBlackShark@simonyemane No, their aren't any 'trained routines' that's what I'm seeing. If there was, they might have some sort of idea when or where their team mates might make an over lapping run or the striker might know where the ball will come in. It's worse tho, any existing chemistry, dissolved.
@AllBlackShark@simonyemane โNeed an action from striker or attackers to scoreโ That's the worrying bit, he's expecting some magic to just 'happen'. There doesn't seem to be any trained routine into their attacking structure, all the forward players look like they just met for the first time..
@JonnyH3232@LastWordOnSpurs Would have been pretty cool if he pulled it off tho! ha. Seriously tho, players do this to antagonise the opposition, defender has a little nibble at him so he's saying 'im too good for you'. Sadly backfired.
@matthayesthfc Case study in the 'fickleness' of fans. Same folks all be singing 'Champions of Europe' I'm sure.
Ange succeeded where, Poch, Jose, Conte etc all failed.
An absolute hero.
@simonyemane I've liked him from the start. The awkward volley he nearly scored at the end of the (otherwise) abysmal Bournemouth game was a glimpse of his potential, so few would have even attempted such a thing. If it went in he probably is in the Champs League squad...
