i finished the backstitching on my cross stitch today! next up is washing it, then painting the background and i'm so excited to do that! i'll leave it for tomorrow, though, as i want to make sure it dries well.

today, while walking home from the store, i found out that my favorite house to pass by has put up a free library next to their mailbox and i can't wait to walk by it again next time so i can donate a few books!!
