By all means for the next elections can we support and vote in credible candidates as MPs and Senators. Those two roles have proven to be important in how the constitution is implemented and ammended at the whim of the president. Let's not focus only at the presidency.
Muslims are committing genocide against Christians in Sudan.
No one in the media or UN seems to care. Please share if you do, speak up!

@DCI_Kenya People abroad have to download the forms, find a way to get their fingerprints taken, look for a solicitor, travel to the embassy to deliver it or send it by mail with money for the envelope and stamp to post back in 2026! Has the process changed?
@ChaliKisogo@RusttyG A few might get through but not enough to sway the outcome if the public stays vigilant. Having a scattered population in NE si expect having huge turn outs in their polling stations. It's upto the political parties to ensure cadidate agents wako kila base.
I said this last year. I will say it again.
Two kids close in age should not have one life destroyed and the other treated as a victim of the first over this.
Just watched it on NTV.
A 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl. Same class. Same age. Same relationship. Police arrive, and only one of them leaves in handcuffs.
The boy.
The girl goes home.
Tonight, they showed the boys still sitting in those institutions, children wearing a criminal label, while the girls in the same stories are not in the next cell. They are free. Or they are called witnesses.
We need Romeo and Juliet laws.
Under-18s who are close in age should not be jailed for consensual relationships with each other. A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old should not go to prison for each other.
Community service & Counselling should be the solution.
Not a record that follows a child for life.
If the law only ever catches the boy, it is not saving children.
It is choosing which child to sacrifice.
I wrote a few stories here...a few of them first published by the Kalahari Review and The African Writer Magazine. Inspired by life and the Kenyan culture.

Humbled to share my thoughts on @Pambazuka_News I write of Africa's youth as the awakened intelligentsia; the new vanguard that Nkrumah prophesied in the 60s, now politically conscious, historically alert & unwilling to accept domination in any form.

Things just got awkward live on TV.
Opiyo Wandayi claimed they had agreed a deal with matatu operators to end the strike and even said there were no questions only for one of the matatu leaders to go live moments later and completely contradict him.
This is exactly the kind of courage Kenya needs.
Speak the truth publicly. Don’t let leaders rewrite reality while cameras are rolling.
