ok so i built a robot that pays people for teaching it stuff
its called coco and it belongs to the whole @islanddao we vote on what it learns and every time it uses a skill the person who made it gets paid on solana
payments are real (devnet for now) 👇
Physical AGI is exactly where your attention needs to be.
Having an agent that appears to be super intelligent is scary, having machines that learn in the real world to complete real tasks is what humanity needs

A year ago, @cloak_ag came to @islanddao and started shipping.
Today, they’re live on mainnet and back on the island, this time in their home country alongside @SuperteamBR 🇧🇷🏝️
From Mykonos to Brazil.
Here’s their story:
In financial markets, the ones with a physical advantage win.
In 1929, when the markets crashed, brokers on the trading floor could see the prices before a broker on the otherside of the country with no way of knowing.
Nowadays, the ones with their pricing feeds closest to the matching engines are the victors when they need to make a trade within miliseconds.
I don't see why this would be any different in robotics.
You need to be as close as you possibly can be to the beating heart of hardware to win.
The most common sentence I heard at Shenzhen RoboTech:
"Give me the CAD, we'll get it done."
Custom actuator? 3 weeks to 3 months.
Small sample run? Yes.
Come see the factory? Please do.
In the US, getting a hardware supplier to reply can take weeks of emails. Here, the engineers walk you to the line.
Wholeheartedly agree with this
Brokering data has been great for a few in the last 18 months, but robotics' data problem isn't solved by individual brokers. We have simulation, world models, egocentric labs that get increasingly better with time
Manufacturers aren't ready for what's to come.
Physical AGI is revolutionising the factory floor, a bolt, a simulation and an edge case at a time. What we are seeing unfold on production lines is a technical revolution comparable only to that of the Industrial Revolution.
In this episode, we talk to Lukas Pankau & Gilwoo Lee of @IndustrialNxtAI, who are reshaping the manufacturing landscape with R2S2R, their new 10,000 sq ft facility and more.
IndustrialNext has had a stellar year. From acquiring Zordi, a BMW Group Technology Office partnership and much more. We cover their technology, when physical AGI will be truly achieved, and the steps to get there.

@JolyOnChain Belief is the ability to remain unfazed in moments of instability
In web3 marketing, after seeing the 100th project you’ve worked with dwindle to 0 it’s hard to ‘believe’ in your work
$2.1B to design & build hard tech in America again.
@ReBuildMFG raised the round today, co-led by @generalcatalyst & JPMorganChase. The company designs & manufactures products for other companies, from drones to medical devices, across 2.4M+ sq ft of US factories.
↳ Robotics & automation is one of 5 sectors the money will grow
↳ 2,100+ US employees, with tens of thousands of jobs projected over the next decade
↳ Founded in 2020 by Jeff Wilke, William Barker & CEO Miles Arnone
Re:Build's own line: "America stopped building things. We're fixing that."

One demonstration is now all a robot needs to learn a new job.
Teaching a robot usually takes hours or days of data collection & training. Machenta's model learns each task from a single demo, with no extra training.
↳ Set up a 3-robot assembly line in two minutes, against weeks of usual integration work
↳ Trained entirely in simulation, without a single real-world image
↳ The same model runs on 6 different robots
The @imperialcollege spinout, led by CEO @Ed__Johns & CTO @vitalisvos19, came out of stealth today with a $40M seed co-led by @usv & @creandum.
Vitalis said, "Teaching a robot something new and watching it succeed on the first try is magical."

Brazil leading the way in crypto adoption.
Founders building and shipping fast.
A perfect storm.
Excited to host so many @SuperteamBR members on the island! 🏝️🇧🇷
$600M to fit AI systems on old machines.
Bedrock retrofits heavy-duty construction machinery, adding sensors and compute to existing excavators in a day. In August they started paid work on live sites with no one behind the wheel.
@BedrockRobotics' year so far
↳ $270M Series B in February
↳ Fully driverless excavators with Sundt, Zachry and others
↳ Customers more than doubled since 2025
↳ Now valued at $4.1B, with nearly $1B raised in total
A great sign for autonomous construction.

My dad worked in merchandising. So did his father and his father before him.
I showed him the Accredited merch and asked them how they did it
He stopped in disbelief and looked at me. What he told me next shocked me.
He said ‘we were never able to top this. We technology never existed’
